On October 20, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Office of National Key Programs, Ministry of Science and Technology organized a Scientific Conference "Current status and orientation for the development of Science and Technology (S&T) energy sector in the period 2021-2030, southern region.

The workshop aims to update, exchange, and discuss science and technology orientations to solve current hot issues such as Energy conversion, solar energy and smart grid... as shown in the KC.05 Program Framework. /21-30 (National Science and Technology Program for the period up to 2030 "Research, application and development of energy technology").

The workshop received many discussions from experts and businesses to identify and resolve existing problems, determine actual needs as well as evaluate feasibility, applicability, suitability, and ability.

This energy transition will have a much larger scale and impact, including major, revolutionary changes in energy-using devices from residential to industrial, within a complex regulatory context. complexity of international and national policies, as well as significant pressure from consumers and society on the environment.
