Speaking at the awarding ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City , Phan Van Mai emphasized, the city honors 45 product brands of enterprises that have won the Ho Chi Minh City Gold Brand Award with outstanding business activities and many achievements efforts in building and developing the brand gathered more than 36,000 employees and the revenue reached more than 333,000 billion VND with many contributions to the city's social security activities. Special, in which, 25 product brands of enterprises have won the Ho Chi Minh City Gold Brand Award from 2020, continuing to be recognized by the City according to the Award's voting regulations. The "Golden Brand" Award of Ho Chi Minh City is an annual award directed by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to honor businesses with excellent results in building strong and impressive product and service brands, associated with Ho Chi Minh brand.

The organizers said that, through the evaluation and scoring process, the Voting Council has selected 45 businesses that fully meet the set criteria, including the criteria of transparency and compliance with the law; operational efficiency; business ethic; innovation; brand promotion and development; management system and brand coverage… Notably, 44% of this year's award winners are units that have won the previous award, in accordance with the regulations on the time to re-enter the award. At the same time, up to 56% of award winning enterprises are new participants. These are all reputable brands, affirming their solid positions in the market, in which 4 key industries and 9 service industries.
