At the recent seminar "Promoting tourism communication", Chairman of the Tourism Association Vu The Binh said that Vietnamese tourism is thriving, the number of domestic tourists in the first 10 months of 2023 reached 98.7 million, up nearly 10 percent compared to the same period in 2022 and higher than the whole of 2019 with 85 million; achieved 97% of the target of 102 million arrivals.

Also in the first 10 months of 2023, Vietnam welcomed 10 million international visitors, exceeding the target of 8 million launched earlier this year.

A recent global survey conducted by hotel group Hilton and market research firm Ipsos found that travelers intend to reduce their personal spending on travel by 2024.

Kevin Jacobs, Chief Financial Officer and President of Global Development at Hilton, commented, "Even with ongoing macroeconomic uncertainty, travel demand remains strong as consumers continue to prioritize the value of experience and connectivity over everything."                                                                    Thus, signals show that international and Vietnamese tourists are ready to travel more in 2024, after a 2023 that showed signs of recovery

Obviously, Vietnam with many beautiful beaches in Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria - Vung Tau... will be a crowded destination for domestic and foreign tourists.

The year 2024 will also see visitors to different regions for culinary experiences.

In 2024, sustainable tourism will be a priority. A large number of visitors are interested in experiences with people living in remote areas (47%), with the goal of feeling more deeply connected to the surrounding environment and community.

After the time of the Covid-19 pandemic, 2023 is considered the year of "revenge travel, revenge tourism". As we head into 2024, tourism will put an end to this phenomenon, but people are still ready to take the road of experience, everywhere, including Vietnam.
