(Dan Tri) - The Indoor Student Festival 2023 event series and the Quintessence of Traditional Craft Villages through the Perspective of Contemporary Interior Design exhibition are taking place in Hanoi from October 21 to November 5.

The 2023 Interior Students' Festival is the first and largest series of events ever organized for the student and young interior designer community, jointly by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, the University of Fine Arts, and the University ofIndustrial Arts, Vietnam Interior Students Forum and organizers.

The exhibition «Quintessence of traditional craft villages through the perspective of contemporary interior design» is and will continue to be held at 45 Trang Tien Exhibition Hall from 21/10 to 5/11. After that, the 10 spaces will continue to be exhibited at the Hanoi Museum until 6/2024.

The series of events of the 2023 Furniture Students Festival has the participation of 10 national and foreign universities of the University of Industrial Fine Arts, Civil Engineering University, Architecture University of Hanoi, Open University, from Forestry University, Da Nang University of Architecture, Duy Tan University, Yersin Dalat University, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, King Mongkut University Bangkok Thailand. 

It is also a community belonging to the Vietnam Furniture Student Forum network - the largest community of young designers nationwide.

The link between craft villages and young designers is the spirit of the Vietnam Furniture Student Festival, which is the determination to preserve and promote traditional values and unlimited creativity.

In addition to the Quintessence of the Vietnamese Craft Village exhibition through the perspective of contemporary interior design, the Vietnam Furniture Student Festival is organizing a series of ID.tour activities - Visit, discover the interior space of the Hanoi Opera, discover the traditional craft area at the Ha Thai lacquer craft village and the pottery village of Bat Trang, visit the Temple of Literature

In the evening of 23/10, the Vietnamese Furniture Students Festival Gala was held at the Elite Center of the Vietnamese Crafts Village. 

Mr. Luu Viet Thang - founder of the Vietnam Student Furniture Forum - said at the gala: “This first Vietnam Furniture Student Festival will open the next series of festivals, connecting more and more young designers and encouraging everyone to contribute and contribute to initiatives for a diverse and clear Vietnamese interior.”

Thanks to the unique way of implementing the space and the impressive presentation style, the team of the Da Nang University of Architecture, with an exhibition space honoring the excellent craft village of Thuy Ung Horn, received the first prize with a total value of 45,99 million VND, including 15 million VND in cash and a 38-inch LG Ultrawide™ computer screen worth 30.99 million VND. 

The Interior Student Festival is a series of events dedicated to the interior design student community organized by the Interior Student Forum, as part of Hanoi’s creative program with the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts.
