Export price of Vietnamese rice continues to climb
The price of 5% broken price at Sai Gon port strengthens the upward trend of last week, going up $5 to $460 – $465/ton this week. This is the highest price since August 2014.
Export price of Indian and Thai rice simultaneously fell
Export price of Indian rice has reached the bottom of 5 months due to weak rupee. Particularly, the price of 5% broken rice lost $3 more to stay at 404 – 408 USD/ton.
In Thailand, the price of 5% broken price at Bangkok port slightly decreased to $435 – $440/ton (FOB) this week thanks to weak baht.
