With the goal of simplifying entry procedure, create favor condition for international tourist applying information technology in pushing domestic travel. According to command of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in National Tourism Development Conference since January 1st , 2017. Vietnam will issue electronic visa (e-visa)
Electronic visa has many advantages:
- It is more security, compatible information, suitable for using purposes, easy to share within relative agencies in necessary cases.
- Transparent management system, updating both finance and information, reduce negativities, distracts, impact to national destination image.
- Creating favor condition for tourist, allow traveler can have visa by internet, wider the scale of services out of embassy and consulate, can use many languages.
- Fast, economic and friendly to environment because of not using convenient paper and procedure
This system applied and play important role in manage security before travelers increasing from nations, such as: Australia, Arab Saudi, Bahrain, Cambodia, etc.
In Vietnam, the system is supposed to create the source to support tourism industry implementing tourism promotion programs in the key destinations
