With the motto “For the Community, We Grow,” Vietnam’s TTC Group has carried out a series of voluntary blood donation campaigns over the last six years.

This is a beautiful culture upholding the spirit of social responsibility always embraced by more than 10,000 TTC employees.
This year marked the seventh anniversary of the company’s voluntary blood donation campaign named “Joy From Compassion,” which will be held at 26 member companies and affiliates under the umbrella of TTC Group from March 29.
The program is held in collaboration with the Red Cross and the People's Committee of Ward 12 in Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City. Among the participating TTC units are Thanh Thanh Cong Investment JSC, Tan Son Nhat Development Investment JSC, Thanh Thanh Cong Trading JSC and TTC Land Services.
Blood donation has long been one of the most meaningful and humane activities, and voluntary blood donation has been a great pervasive campaign.
The campaign affirms that TTC Group not only emphasizes business development, but also constantly strives to become an active member of the community through supporting and sharing social responsibilities, and contributing to a prosperous, civilized and modern country.
According to a recent report from the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, the institute’s blood reserves are 8,153 units, with 2,154 units of type O, accounting for 26 percent.
The institute still needs at least 1,500 units of blood to meet the demand of emergency and treatment at 180 hospitals on a daily basis. Type O alone makes up 45 percent of the total need, or approximately 700 units per day. The blood reserves always need sharing and contributions from the community.
Corporate social responsibility not only helps strengthen the competitiveness of the business in the context of wide and deep integration into the global economy, where business ethics are compulsory, but it also contains more precious values when contributing to the prosperous development of the country.
