Chairman Dang Van Thanh: Entrepreneurs must be "green" from within themselves"!

Chairman Dang Van Thanh believes that in an era where the private economy is promoted, first of all, businesses and entrepreneurs must be "green" from within.

At the Vietnam Investment Forum 2026 jointly organized by VietnamBiz and Vietnam Moi (Vietnammoi) on November 4 in Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Phan Duc Hieu - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee, said that Resolution No. 198/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly was noticed, aiming to institutionalize Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development. The highlight of Resolution 198 is the emphasis on reducing institutional risks for businesses. Accordingly, the principle that management agencies only inspect and examine businesses once a year, and do not inspect if the business has a good history of law compliance. At the same time, civil and economic relations are not criminalized. "This is the first time in a legal document that many principles that we have only discussed before are mentioned," he said.

From a business perspective, Mr. Dang Van Thanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TTC Group, believes that 2026 will be a pivotal year for the 2026 - 2030 period, with the prospect of continued economic stability and growth. He assessed that although macro issues such as exchange rates, inflation, and interest rates are still "three small essays" that are discussed a lot, they are no longer a worrying factor.

According to him, in the past, the State has created a favorable environment, the remaining issue is that businesses must improve their internal capacity to integrate. "The 4.0 era, knowledge economy, digital transformation... are realities that entrepreneurs must face and adapt to in order to rise up" - he said.

After the difficult period due to COVID-19, although many support policies such as interest rate reduction, debt extension, and VAT reduction have been implemented, Mr. Thanh said that those measures only stimulate supply, while the core issue is to stimulate domestic consumption.

According to him, public investment will continue to play a driving role in driving growth in 2026, especially in the southern region, where a series of large infrastructure projects such as Ring Road 3, Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway are being vigorously implemented.

"People talk a lot about green earth, green credit, everything is green. But I only draw one conclusion: entrepreneurs must be "green" from within themselves. That invisible "green" is the root of sustainable development, there is no need to cope" - Mr. Thanh emphasized and affirmed the ethical role and vision of entrepreneurs in the process of national development.
