100 typical Entrepreneurs, 100 typical Enterprises, representing more than 438,000 enterprises registered were honored on this occasion.

On October 7th, the Enterprise Ho Chi Minh City Association (HUBA) celebrated the 16th Vietnam Entrepreneur Day (2004-2020), honoring 100 enterprises and 100 entrepreneurs of Ho Chi Ming City in 2020.
The election of excellent enterprises and entrepreneurs in 2020 was launched by the City Business Association from June 2020 to August 2020, attracting the participation of 215 enterprises; in which, there are 152 applications to register for the title of typical enterprises of Ho Chi Minh City in 2020 and 156 applications to register for the title of typical entrepreneurs of Ho Chi Minh City in 2020.
Among the 100 typical entrepreneurs, there are many big brands such as Hung Thinh Group, Thien Long Group, Kido Group, Hoa Binh Construction Group, Viet Tien Garment Corporation, Thanh Thanh Cong Investment Joint Stock Company , Anh Duong Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Animal Products Joint Stock Company, Dai Dung Mechanical Trading Joint Stock Company, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company.
Amway Vietnam received Vietnam-ASEAN Outstanding Enterprise 2020 award.
In terms of scale, 100 enterprises have invested VND 976,956 billion of charter capital for production and business. Particularly in 2018 and 2019 (2 years of approval), the total revenue of 100 enterprises reached over VND 580,000 billion, profit was over VND 38,000 billion, contributed more than VND 25,000 billion to the budget, more than 800 to the social security billion and create stable jobs for more than 150,000 employees.
To overcome the current difficult period, it requires entrepreneurs to have the courage, determination to restructure operations, scale to suit the actual situation, restructure the domestic and international supply chain market application after being interrupted due to pandemic.
