Lam Dong successfully organized the final round of the Website Design contest “BrandID - Digital Citizen with ID.VN domain name”, and at the same time, was the 3rd locality out of 9 localities nationwide to simultaneously deploy this program in August 2025.

Playground of creativity and Vietnamese identity
This is one of the key activities of the program "Promoting and supporting people, businesses, and business households to have a reliable and safe online presence with digital services using the national domain name ".vn"", according to Decision 826/QD-BTTTT of the Ministry of Information and Communications. The contest is not only a creative playground but also contributes to spreading the message of building a personal digital brand associated with the national domain name ".vn".
With a scope expanding to many provinces and cities, the contest has attracted hundreds of quality entries from students, youth, and young entrepreneurs. After more than 3 months of launching, the Organizing Committee has selected 30 excellent products for the final round and 12 most outstanding contestants to enter the final round. Here, the contestants went through the presentation and idea defense, demonstrating their creativity, development orientation as well as the practical application of the project.
Mr. Do Quang Trung - Head of VNNIC Ho Chi Minh City Branch and Head of the Jury commented: "The contestants have come up with many ideas, are confident and have projects that solve practical problems in life. Compared to other provinces and cities, Lam Dong's designs are very impressive, showing their own personality and the ability to apply knowledge to reality in a creative and profound way".
Inspirational stories
The contest honored many unique ideas, imbued with cultural and social values. The project of Dao Thi Ngoc - a student at Yersin University in Da Lat stood out. With the website “Preserving and developing the brocade weaving craft of the K’ho ethnic group”, Dao Thi Ngoc created an impressive work, harmoniously combining technology with preserving traditional culture and excellently winning the Special Prize of the contest.
Sharing her inspiration, Ngoc said: “As a child of the K’ho ethnic group, I hope that through this topic, the cultural products of my ethnic group will not be lost in the future. Despite many difficulties, I have received enthusiastic support from the Organizing Committee”.
Another example is Nguyen Van Giap - a student majoring in Banking and Finance, Da Lat University. Giap's project is aimed at young people who love backpacking, with the desire to promote the image of the country and help young people build their personal brands. “As a final year student, I came to this contest with the desire to achieve my first success in life” - Giap confided.
Spreading and building digital citizens
Ms. Pham Thi Nham - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Lam Dong province, representative of the Organizing Committee, emphasized: "The contest is not only a creative playground but also a practical activity in the strategy of building Vietnamese digital citizens - proactive, creative people who know how to exploit digital tools to develop themselves, start a business and spread Vietnamese values to the world".
The contest "BrandID - Digital citizens with the domain name ID.VN" has contributed to raising awareness of the importance of online presence and building digital brands in cyberspace. This not only helps people and businesses access digital services in a reliable and safe way, but also affirms a strong message: In the digital age, every Vietnamese citizen can and needs to be present online with their own digital brand, associated with the national domain name ".vn", associated with national identity and sovereignty on the internet.
