On August 11, the TTC Chau Thanh rest stop—located at Km205+092 on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway—was officially inaugurated, marking the completion of a complex offering services and amenities for the public and travelers. Attendees at the ceremony included representatives from the Vietnam Road Administration, local authorities, partners, consultants, and contractors, as well as representatives from the members of the TTC Chau Thanh investment consortium.
A modern, civilized, and high-quality rest stop
Developed by the consortium of Thanh Thanh Nam, Chau Thanh, Viet Han, and Saigon Investment, the TTC Chau Thanh rest stop spans over 13 hectares. It comprises two service areas situated on opposite sides of the expressway, catering to traffic traveling in both the North-South and South-North directions.
According to Mr. Huynh Tuan Em—Director of TTC Chau Thanh Trading and Service JSC and representative of the investment consortium—the value of a rest stop lies not merely in the scale of the facility, but in the quality of the experience it offers travelers. "Our goal goes beyond simply completing a construction project; we aim to create a stop where every visitor feels safe, comfortable, and truly valued throughout their experience," Mr. Huynh Tuan Em shared at the ceremony.

The TTC Chau Thanh rest stop was established against the backdrop of the increasingly complete North-South Expressway (Eastern section) network, driving a growing demand for rest stops that offer consistent service quality and cater to travelers' needs for rest, shopping, and essential amenities.
Mr. Huynh Tuan Em, Director of TTC Chau Thanh, shares the story of the rest stop's development.
From a corporate perspective, Mr. Dang Huynh Anh Tuan—Head of Operations at TTC Group and representative of the major shareholder in the TTC Chau Thanh investment consortium—stated that participating in this project aligns with the company's commitment to supporting local infrastructure and economic development.
"At TTC Group and the TTC Chau Thanh consortium, we remain steadfast in our strategy to develop a sustainable ecosystem based on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards. This vision is realized through the project’s features, including a rooftop solar power system spanning nearly 2,500 square meters, a high-capacity electric vehicle charging network designed to anticipate the shift toward green transportation, and 17,000 square meters of landscaped greenery. We are committed to operating the facility using advanced wastewater treatment technology; in doing so, we not only protect the local environment but also contribute to the national goals of the green transition, energy efficiency, and the journey toward Net Zero," Mr. Dang Huynh Anh Tuan emphasized.

Creating added value for local residents and the economy
Beyond simply meeting the need for rest stops along the expressway, the TTC Chau Thanh rest area contributes to boosting commercial and service activities while generating numerous employment opportunities.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Duc Trung—representing the Vietnam Road Administration—acknowledged the efforts of the joint venture developer during the project's implementation. He noted that the TTC Chau Thanh rest area helps expand essential service infrastructure along the expressway, thereby enhancing amenities and service quality for road users. The representative also expressed the expectation that the facility would operate safely and professionally, delivering long-term effectiveness.

The project is designed as an integrated service complex offering a wide range of amenities for travelers, including commercial and service areas, dining facilities, parking lots, fueling stations, electric vehicle charging stations, vehicle maintenance and repair workshops, emergency rescue services, car wash facilities, and other ancillary services. Notably, the central service area features a restaurant with a usable area of approximately 2,000 square meters, capable of accommodating large groups during peak hours.

A highlight of the facility is the specially designed "Ocean"-themed restroom area, featuring 3D mural tiles. This detail reflects the developer's commitment to the customer experience, addressing everything from basic necessities to amenities for travelers during their rest stops. The project also incorporates 39 commercial and service units to meet the diverse shopping, dining, and service needs of locals and tourists alike, while creating business opportunities for enterprises and individual vendors.
