Launching the 2026 Vietnam Gold Star Award voting and awarding program

On July 8, 2026, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association officially launched the 2026 Golden Star Award Program, initiating a journey to search for, select, and honor outstanding Vietnamese businesses and brands with competitive capabilities, innovation, and sustainable development in the context of the country entering a new stage of development.

The Golden Star of Vietnam Award is an activity honoring Vietnamese businesses and brands in international integration. It has been organized since 2003 by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, under the direction of the Prime Minister. After 23 years of implementation (2003-2026) and 14 editions, the Golden Star of Vietnam Award has become one of the leading prestigious awards for Vietnamese businesses, recognized and highly appreciated by the Party, State leaders, the business community, and society. The award has attracted more than 6,500 businesses participating in the voting process, and 2,527 outstanding brands and products have been honored.

Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, stated that over two decades of implementation, the Golden Star of Vietnam award has become a prestigious award in the journey of building and developing brands for many Vietnamese businesses. In practice, many award-winning businesses have experienced remarkable growth, expanding their production and business scale, improving management capabilities, building trust with consumers, partners, and investors, and becoming exemplary businesses playing a leading role in many sectors of the Vietnamese economy. Notable examples include: Vingroup, FPT, THACO, VietinBank, Vietnam National Energy Corporation, Vietnam Rubber Corporation, Hoa Phat, Geleximco, Trung Nguyen, Hoa Sen, Eurowindow, Viet Tien, Dong Tam, Traphaco, BIDV, TTC, Phu Thai, Sacombank, Vietnam Maritime Corporation, KIDO... and many other outstanding businesses.

In particular, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has established the Golden Star Club of Vietnam to connect businesses that have won the award over the years. To date, the Club has brought together many large businesses and leading brands in Vietnam, regularly organizing activities to connect businesses, promote investment, share management experience, and coordinate with localities to promote the investment and business environment. This is one of the outstanding added values of the Award, creating opportunities for award-winning businesses to expand cooperative relationships, participate in a prestigious business ecosystem, and increase their competitive advantage in the development process.

In 2026, the Golden Star Award of Vietnam will be held against the backdrop of the country entering a new phase of development with increasingly high demands for improved productivity, growth quality, and national competitiveness. The major policies of the Party and State on developing the state-owned and private economies, promoting science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation are opening up many opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to break through, while also requiring the building of strong brands capable of international competitiveness, mastering technology, dominating markets, and deeply participating in global value chains. In this context, the Golden Star Award of Vietnam continues to affirm its role as an important driving force encouraging businesses to invest in brand development, modern management, and enhancing competitiveness.

The Golden Star Award of Vietnam 2026 will be awarded to the TOP 200 outstanding brands with international competitiveness. Depending on the voting results, the winning brands will be recognized with the titles of TOP 10, TOP 100, and TOP 200 outstanding Vietnamese brands. The program will run from July to December 2026 with several rounds of voting: preliminary selection, on-site assessment, and final selection. The deadline for submitting applications is September 15, 2026. The Golden Star of Vietnam Award Ceremony 2026 is expected to be held in December 2026.

Eligible participants are businesses registered and operating under Vietnamese law, excluding businesses with 100% foreign capital. Businesses can register for participation with their own brand or with trademarks and brand names they own.

In 2026, the selection criteria system will continue to be refined towards a more modern approach, approaching international competition standards and more fully reflecting the development capacity of businesses in the digital economy. In addition to traditional criteria groups on business performance, competitiveness, product quality, corporate governance, and brand development, the Organizing Committee will add criteria evaluating the level of digital transformation application in management and business operations, investment in research and development (R&D), innovation capacity, management and exploitation of intellectual property assets, effectiveness of investment in science and technology, revenue from new products and services, and the development of an innovation ecosystem within the business. Businesses with honored brands will be awarded the Golden Star of Vietnam Certificate; granted the right to use the Golden Star of Vietnam logo in communication and brand promotion activities; given priority to participate in trade promotion programs, investment networking, trade fairs, and exhibitions both domestically and internationally organized by the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; and become members and participate in the activities of the Golden Star of Vietnam Club.

The Organizing Committee expects that the Golden Star of Vietnam Award 2026 will continue to discover, honor, and spread outstanding Vietnamese brands, contributing to building a strong business community with international competitiveness, deeply involved in the global value chain, and making a positive contribution to the rapid and sustainable development of the country.

The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association respectfully invites your business to register for the Golden Star of Vietnam Award 2026 selection program.
