The event of former world number one tennis player Kyle Yates directly compiling the curriculum and teaching the professional coach training course at the D-Joy Sports Academy marks a new step in standardizing expertise for the sport of pickleball in Vietnam.
D-Joy's Strategy for Elevating Professionalism Through the Ecosystem
The D-Joy sports ecosystem is asserting its pioneering position as the sole representative of Vietnam to co-found the Global Pickleball Alliance, joining forces with prestigious organizations from the US, Australia, India, the UK, Canada, and Europe to standardize the world's competition and ranking system.
With its superior infrastructure, D-Joy owns the largest complex of courts in the continent, reaching a maximum capacity of 63 courts across two complexes. The complex in Tan My ward (formerly District 7) is the largest in Asia, perfectly meeting the most stringent standards for organizing world-class professional tournaments.
Besides its strengths in infrastructure and international network, the organization also identifies education as a core value, focusing resources on training a generation of talented athletes and coaches. Through collaboration with world-class stars like Kyle Yates to standardize the professional training roadmap, D-Joy hopes to create a solid launching pad, enabling Vietnamese pickleball to compete at prestigious arenas such as the SEA Games, ASIAD, and the Olympics in the future.
