Sacomreal aims at 10% increase in profits for 2015

(Vietstock) - Saigon Thuong Tin Real Estate JSC (Sacomreal) (its name on HNX is: SCR) has announced its estimate of the 2014 profits at VND62 billion. The company expects the profits in 2015 to increase by 10% over the previous years.

Particularly, Sacomreal’s turnover in 2014 was VND692.8 billion, or 114% of the annual plan. The company’s profit also increased by 10% over the annual plan, estimating to be VND62 billion. Sacomreal said the result mainly came from the projects Belleza and Carillon, which had been sold out. Other projects like Jamona City or real estate brokerage services for other projects from outside also brought about positive results.

Talking about Sacomreal’s business activies in 2015, the company’s Vice Chairman Huỳnh Phú Kiệt said, “The real estate market is expected to be better thanks to more accessible capital sources, especially overseas national currency exchange and foreign investments, the supportive VND30,000 billion package with 8 more banks allowed to provide loans, making the total 13 banks allowed to provide loans. With the stability of the operations, the company’s Board of Directors will take necessary measures to increase the total turnover and profit by about 10% over 2014. The projects Arista Villas, Jamona City and Jamona Riverside will continue to play the major role to enable the company to reach the goals. Sacomreal will try to overcome the challenges commonly faced by real estate companies at present, and will continue to strengthen and stabilize all the business activities”.

Mr. Kiệt also said, “Some rumor has cause SCR shares to fall to VND8,200 each. However, liquidation has been high, with nearly 20 million shares transferred. This is considered a good price for accumulation. Apart from stabilizing its business activities, SCR’s Board of Directors will buy more shares to stabilize SCR shares.”
