In 2015, sugar consumption of SBT recorded 133,892 tons, include 114,400 tons for domestic selling, the result was 8% over planning. SBT is accounting for 10% of market share.
The total net profit after tax recorded VND 189 billion, VND 1,317 of earning per share.
Since November 24th, 2015, SBT finished to merger Gia Lai Sugar Cane Thermoelectricity JSC (SEC) and become the biggest sugar cane enterprise with VND 4,000 billion of total asset, the scope of production is 15,800 TMN.
The fiscal year 2015/2016 forecast, based on the report of international organizations, global sugar industry will derive the optimistic opportunity. Based on this, in the shareholder meeting, people agreed business plan in fiscal year 2015/2016 with VND 3,300 billion of revenue goal (increase 60% compared to 2014), VND 220 billion of profit before tax (increase 22%)
