According to the province's plan, in 2024, the total floor area of residential buildings in the province will increase by over 3 million square meters. According to information from the Tây Ninh Provincial People's Committee, the province aims to develop 28,065 housing units in 2024, including: 3,030 social housing units. Among them, social housing for low-income people will include 800 units, housing for industrial workers and industrial clusters will be 1,637 units, and housing under support programs for social policy beneficiaries will be 593 units; 2,000 resettlement houses (resettlement by land plot, self-built houses by residents); 23,035 commercial houses and self-built houses, including 11,715 commercial houses and 11,320 self-built houses.

With this development plan, Tay Ninh province plans to allocate nearly 85,780 hectares of land for housing development and will provide accommodation for approximately 950,000 residents. The total floor area of residential buildings will increase by over 3 million square meters in 2024, with an average residential area estimated at around 29.5 square meters per person. In urban areas, the average area will be about 30.9 square meters per person, and in rural areas, it will be about 28.0 square meters per person.

Prior to this, the Tsy Ninh Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 3969 on the development of social housing in the province to implement the Project "Investment in building at least 1 million social housing units for low-income people, industrial workers in industrial zones in the period 2021-2030".

According to the plan, in the period 2023 - 2025, Tay Ninh province will focus on building and completing 5,000 social housing units for low-income people and industrial workers in industrial zones. Among them, it will expedite the completion progress of projects including 1,441 social housing units in Thành Pho Vang, 99 units in Vạn Phat Hung residential area, and 302 dormitories for workers under Jinju Vietnam Co., Ltd. In addition, the province will attract investment for the construction of about 1,167 social housing units in new urban areas where investment proposals have been approved, allocating land for social housing construction projects.

At the same time, the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee will urge infrastructure investment companies and manufacturing enterprises in Phước Dong Industrial Park, Thành Thành Công Industrial Park, to invest in the construction of about 1,200 workers' houses on land allocated for social housing development according to approved detailed planning.

Furthermore, the province will focus on urban construction planning and sequencing procedures to attract investment in social housing development projects, housing for industrial workers under the province's approved housing development program. Simultaneously, it will focus on improving the living environment of laborers renting accommodation in boarding houses.

According to information from the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, 11,900 social housing units will be developed using funds from enterprises, preferential loans from credit institutions (from the 120,000 billion dong credit program and other credit institutions), and state budget funds (if available) to support land clearance, infrastructure investment beyond project boundaries...

In the period 2026 - 2030, Tay Ninh province aims to complete and achieve 6,900 social housing units. The province will complete the investment in social housing construction already approved by investors for the remaining area of the 2 projects: Urban area serving Nui Ba Đen National Park and New urban area in Ninh Thanh ward.

To implement this plan, Tay Ninh province will approve investment policies, select investors for construction projects in urban areas, residential areas in Tay Ninh city, Trang Bang town, Hoa Thành town, Gò Dầu district, and independent social housing projects in districts, industrial zones, economic zones, to achieve the set targets for social housing development.

The allocated social housing targets for localities include: Tay Ninh city (500 units), Trang Bang town (2,200 units), Hoa Thành town (500 units), Bến Cầu district (2,000 units), and Chau Thành district (200 units). Consequently, Tay Ninh province encourages socialization of investment in social housing construction, creating conditions for investors to operate infrastructure and manufacturing enterprises in industrial clusters to invest in social housing for workers to buy, rent, or lease…
