The D-Joy Junior World Championship makes history in Asia with the world's largest scholarship fund.

At the D-Joy South Saigon Pickleball complex, the recent D-Joy Junior World Championship 2025 attracted widespread attention from the domestic and international sports community, affirming its position as one of the leading and most prestigious youth pickleball tournaments today.

Notably, the tournament set an unprecedented milestone in Pickleball history, becoming the first youth Pickleball tournament in the world to award high-value educational scholarships, opening up a completely new approach to the development of young athletes.

The tournament recorded a total of over 500 registered participants, bringing the total number of athletes in the entire 5-stage D-Joy Junior series in 2025 to nearly 3,000. This impressive number further confirms the interest of young people in Pickleball, and also demonstrates the systematic approach in organizing tournaments implemented by D-JOY.

The D-Joy Junior World Championship 2025 is the world's first junior pickleball tournament to implement VAR technology in officiating and refereeing, contributing to increased transparency, fairness, and professionalism in competition, approaching international standards.

TTC International Education Joint Stock Company (TTC Edu), a member of the TTC Group, is sponsoring a scholarship package worth 1 billion VND.

Alongside its professional quality and organizational scale, the tournament also made a special mark with the support of Nguyen Hoang Group and TTC International Education Joint Stock Company (TTC Edu).

Nguyen Hoang Group awarded scholarships worth 1.5 billion VND, and TTC Edu provided scholarships worth 1 billion VND, for outstanding young athletes.

The fact that a Junior Pickleball tournament offers scholarships totaling 2.5 billion VND is considered a world first, demonstrating a pioneering development model that closely links high-performance sports with education, creating a sustainable foundation for the future of young athletes.

According to the prize structure, the champion of each category receives a Nguyen Hoang Group scholarship worth 50 million VND, along with a 50 million VND scholarship from TTC Edu (applicable to the U18 age group) and a commemorative champion's trophy. In addition, U18 players winning Silver and Bronze medals receive scholarships of 30 million VND and 20 million VND respectively from TTC Edu.

Alongside their performance in the tournament, athletes who demonstrate consistent effort throughout the season are also recognized for their achievements. The top-ranked pickleball player in the DRP was honored with a DRP Top 1 commemorative medal and a scholarship to an intensive course with Kyle Yates – the legendary American pickleball player, former world number 1, and head coach of the D-JOY Sports Academy – worth 100 million VND. The total prize money for the final stage of the D-Joy Junior World Championship set a record with over 3 billion VND.

At the awards ceremony, the parents of Thanh Tung – the U12 Boys' Doubles champion from the VN Pickleball Center (Hanoi) – proudly stated that their son's high achievement and receiving a 50 million VND scholarship from Nguyen Hoang Group was a great joy for the family. “In the future, we will still prioritize his studies, while simultaneously creating opportunities for him to continue practicing pickleball to improve his skills and compete in more tournaments to gain experience and enhance his competitive spirit.”

Meanwhile, athlete Pham Hoai Anh (Junior Pickleball D-Joy Club) shared: “After two days of competition, I am honored to receive two scholarships, each worth 50,000,000 VND. I plan to use these scholarships to study at schools that suit my goals. I will definitely try harder and hope that the next tournaments will attract more young players, so that we can discover more new talents for Vietnamese pickleball.”
