On the morning of June 1st, 2026, the Ho Chi Minh City Dental and Maxillofacial Hospital organized a program to donate gifts and provide free services to children with congenital cleft lip and palate deformities (especially those from remote and disadvantaged areas) and other children who come to the hospital for examination and treatment!
To date, the Ho Chi Minh City Dental and Maxillofacial Hospital has performed free surgeries on more than 20,000 children with congenital cleft lip and palate deformities, giving them complete smiles.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thang, Deputy General Director of Saigon Co.op, presented a gift plaque to the Ho Chi Minh City Dental and Maxillofacial Hospital.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thang, Deputy General Director of Saigon Co.op, said that the support for 20 maxillofacial surgeries and 20 essential gift packages is a way of sharing and encouraging families of sick children in difficult circumstances, so that the children can have bright and radiant smiles on their faces. At the same time, it spreads connections with the community, suppliers, and government agencies to help people in difficult circumstances and vulnerable groups, thereby bringing a better quality of life to everyone.
Representatives from Co.op Mart and leaders from the Ho Chi Minh City Dental and Maxillofacial Hospital presented gifts to the children participating in the program.
Dr. Nguyen Duc Minh, Party Secretary and Director of the hospital, said: “The Charitable Surgery Program has been organized annually by the hospital with the aim of bringing smiles and joy to underprivileged Vietnamese children. In collaboration with Saigon Co.op, the hospital receives additional financial and medical resources. On the same day, the Thanh Ngoc Charity Fund of the TTC Group donated 40 cases of Cocoxim coconut water to children receiving examination and treatment at the hospital, along with gifts such as toothbrushes, P/S toothpaste, Listerine mouthwash, and a balloon clown, bringing comfort and joy to the children.
