The third generation of the Sharing group contributes to Tet for Children 2026.

On the afternoon of January 18th, at Aeon Mall Binh Tan (Tri Dong B Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), 22 children broke open their piggy banks to contribute to the Tet for Children program in 2026.

Mr. Dang Huynh Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Board of Directors of TTC Energy Joint Stock Company - was present at the event.

Mrs. Mai Thi Hanh (wife of former President Truong Tan Sang) (far right) was present at the piggy bank smashing event on the afternoon of January 18th.

After many days of saving, the students have accumulated over 127 million VND. They will use all of this money, along with the "Tet for Children 2026" program, to care for children in difficult circumstances.

Many of the students participating in the piggy bank breaking activity are siblings.

Huynh Boi Nghi (8th grade, Nguyen Van Luong Secondary School, Binh Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) said that she was accompanied by her younger sister, Ai Nghi, who is in kindergarten. Boi Nghi's piggy bank had been saving for about 5 months.

When she heard her mother say that this year's "Tet for Children" program would include giving gifts to friends in flood-affected areas, Boi Nghi didn't hesitate to contribute immediately.

These piggy banks are the ones the children have been saving up for many days.

The participants in the piggy bank smashing activity are the third-generation descendants of the uncles and aunts in the Sharing Group.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tranh (Head of the Sharing group) said that the participants in breaking open the piggy bank are the third-generation descendants of the uncles and aunts in the Sharing group.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tranh gave some instructions to the children before breaking open their piggy banks.

"Tet for Children" is an annual program organized by the Red Scarf Publications Block (Tuoi Tre newspaper) and the Sharing group of Mrs. Mai Thi Hanh (wife of former President Truong Tan Sang).

According to the plan, this year the program will distribute 1,800 Tet gifts to disadvantaged children such as those born prematurely, orphans, those with cancer, and those affected by Agent Orange… Each gift is worth 1.3 million VND. For special cases, the program will also provide scholarships or financial assistance for medical treatment.
