This marks the second time TTC Hospitality has been honored as a Community-Oriented Enterprise under the Saigon Times CSR 2024 program, reaffirming its commitment to pioneering social responsibility and sustainable development.
TTC Hospitality is one of 40 enterprises honored as a Community-Oriented Enterprise.
Persevering for the Environment – Striving for a Green Future
One of TTC Hospitality's key and ongoing activities in 2024 focuses on community engagement. These initiatives are organized quarterly under various themes, including environmental sanitation, afforestation, charitable activities, and waste collection and management.
In the second quarter alone, the company contributed to the planting of nearly 100,000 new trees. At the Valley of Love, 4,000 cherry blossoms and three-needle pines were planted, increasing the total tree count at the tourist site to over 300,000 trees spanning more than 200 species. Additionally, TTC World - Ta Cu planted nearly 60,000 ornamental and fruit trees, further enhancing green spaces.
The Valley of Love supports Da Lat City's goal of planting 3.8 million trees during the 2021–2025 period.
In addition to focusing on green spaces, TTC Hospitality places great importance on green buildings and sustainable products. According to Mr. Dang Huynh Anh Tuan, a member of the TTC Group Board of Directors, TTC Hospitality ensures that all new projects adhere to IFC (International Finance Corporation) standards for environmental and social performance. The company is developing architectural, landscaping, and basic system standards aimed at reducing energy consumption, minimizing light and air pollution, and conserving water in its buildings.
“We encourage all business units with sufficient space to install solar panel systems, and this will become mandatory in the future,” Mr. Dang Huynh Anh Tuan added.
TTC Van Phong Bay Resort, a 5-star resort by TTC Hospitality in Khanh Hoa, features an open-space design and implements a green building model. Its recessed glass layers help reduce heat radiation and eliminate the need for ventilation control of CO and CO2 levels.
In its product development orientation, TTC Hospitality prioritizes "green products" as the core of its business strategy, aiming to combine environmental protection with the preservation of local culture.
The Gong Performance Stage at the Valley of Love offers unique and captivating shows, allowing tourists to immerse themselves in the local culture.
According to its development orientation, TTC World - Ta Cu will focus on eco-spiritual tourism. Therefore, preserving the diversity of vegetation is an integral part of the site's development strategy.
Committed to Community Engagement – Shaping a Better Future
Not only a guiding principle but also a reflection of its cultural values, TTC Hospitality annually collaborates with TTC Group in meaningful charitable activities. Programs such as "Loving White Shirts Accompany You to School", "TTC - Supporting Education", and "TTC - Nurturing Success" provide not only new uniforms or valuable scholarships to underprivileged students in localities where TTC Group and TTC Hospitality operate, but also instill hope and trust in a brighter future.
Additionally, TTC Hospitality contributes hundreds of blood units through the annual voluntary blood donation program "Joy from Kindness" organized by TTC Group, bringing hope to patients in need of assistance.
TTC Hospitality has been a steadfast partner in the "TTC - Nurturing Success" program, initiated by TTC Group since 1985.
A highlight of 2024 was the program "With TTC - Refreshing Hearts During the Dry Season," which delivered clean water trucks to help residents of the Mekong Delta endure the most challenging periods of drought. This initiative provided not only material support but also heartfelt compassion from TTC Hospitality to the community.
In addition, TTC Hospitality has partnered with various localities to organize community running events and the traditional Ta Cu Mountain Climb, further spreading TTC Group's message: "For the Community, Advancing Local Development."
