The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development announced that in the first two months of this year, the total export turnover of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products reached USD 9.84 billion, resulting in a surplus of USD 2.68 billion.
Exported goods that increased compared to the same period last year include agricultural products, forestry products, aquatic products, and livestock. Most of the major export items have achieved high export values such as wood products, coffee, vegetables and fruits, rice, cashew nuts, and shrimp.

The export value of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products to Asian, Pacific, and African markets has all increased. Specifically, the United States, China, and Japan continue to be the three largest export markets for Vietnamese agricultural products. The export value to the United States accounted for 21.5%, increasing by 77.3%; to China, it accounted for 21%, increasing by 47.9%; and to Japan, it accounted for 7.2%, increasing by 29.2%.
