On the morning of October 19, Lam Dong Province held a launch ceremony for the 2026 “Not Alone” (“Không Một Mình”) campaign, themed “Connecting Without Harm.” The initiative aims to raise awareness and equip children and adolescents with the skills to prevent and address online abuse.
Colonel Dau Xuan Bao, Deputy Director of the Lam Dong Provincial Police, launched the campaign at Yersin University of Da Lat.
The program is being implemented at four educational institutions: Thang Long High School for the Gifted, Yersin University of Da Lat, Le Quy Don Primary-Secondary-High School, and Nguyen Chi Thanh High School for the Gifted.
Participants in the program include representatives from various government departments, agencies, and authorities; educational institutions; members of the Lam Dong "Digital Trust" Club (Câu lạc bộ Niềm tin số Lâm Đồng); social media influencers (KOLs); and a large number of pupils and students.

The “Not Alone” (“Không Một Mình”) campaign for 2026 is initiated by the Digital Trust Alliance and the Department of Cybersecurity, under the auspices of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with international organizations including UNICEF and UNODC.
Focused on the prevention of online abuse against children and adolescents, the campaign aims to empower young people to recognize, prevent, and respond to various online risks such as scams, bullying, harassment, grooming, psychological manipulation, the compromise of personal data, and the dissemination of harmful content.
Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Nguyen Viet Tien, Deputy Head of the Cybersecurity Division of the Lam Dong Provincial Police, launched the program at Thang Long High School for the Gifted.
During the program, delegates, pupils, and students were introduced to the core components of the campaign. They learned about safe internet and social media usage, how to identify situations involving the risk of online abuse, and how to proactively seek support from their families, schools, or relevant authorities when necessary.
In Lam Dong, the campaign will run from October 10 to December 10, 2026, featuring a series of activities such as an online quiz, a search for "School Digital Safety Ambassadors," workshops held at schools, and the launch of the "5 Minutes with a Child" initiative.
Lam Dong Provincial Police, together with teachers and students from Le Quy Don Primary, Secondary, and High School, participate in the program.
Among these is the “Digital Safety Ambassador for Schools” contest, open to students in secondary schools, high schools, colleges, and universities across the province. The contest consists of five rounds, ranging from self-introduction, the creation of communication materials, and the execution of awareness-raising activities, to the proposal of initiatives and the hosting of practical workshops.

Through this competition, Lam Dong province will select and nurture students both in schools and universities who possess the knowledge, skills, and capacity to inspire others, enabling them to serve as key advocates for digital safety within educational institutions. These ambassadors will help promote civilized and responsible behavior on social media, while also assisting their peers in identifying and avoiding online risks.
The students enthusiastically participated in the program.
In addition to activities designed for students, the “5 Minutes with Your Child” initiative encourages parents and caregivers to set aside time each day to talk with and listen to their children. This helps in the early detection of any concerning signs and ensures that children do not have to face challenges alone when encountering issues in the online environment.
Through this campaign, Lam Dong aims to build a collaborative network involving families, schools, regulatory authorities, and the broader community to protect children and adolescents. At the same time, it seeks to promote the message that every comment, message, or piece of content shared online should be rooted in respect and responsibility.
Lam Dong launches “Not Alone – Connecting Without Harm”
“Connecting without Causing Harm” is also a call for the community to refrain from bullying, insults, and the dissemination of private information urging individuals to pause before taking actions that could hurt others in order to collectively build a digital environment that is safe, healthy, and humane.
