In the morning of 2 December, as part of the seminar on tourism development on the theme “Green tourism – sustainable development”, the People’s Committee of the city of Da Lat (Lam Dong) took stock of 20 years of implementation of the “Green Brand” programme and 10 years of the "High Quality Shopping Destination" voting program.

The «Green Brand» program was launched by the People’s Committee of the city of Da Lat in 2003, with the aim of mobilizing tourism services companies in the region to understand and raise awareness about environmental preservation, from the landscape, to the investment in facilities, to the improvement of the quality of services, to the contribution to the construction of Da Lat in an urban area with a green - clean - beautiful, attractive, safe, friendly natural environment.
After 20 years of implementation, the campaign program for the construction of a «green brand» has achieved concrete results, serving as an important basis for the development of tourism towards high quality. The city of Da Lat identifies and builds the «green brand» as one of the important contents to build a civilized and friendly city, improve the quality of service and create many new tourist products attractive to tourists.

Meanwhile, the Da Lat City High Quality Shopping Destinations Program began to be implemented in 2013. The participants are all shops, commercial establishments, households, manufacturing and commercial companies and exhibiting specialized products in Da Lat - Lam Dong.
The program has helped to promote the movement of building urban civilization in the production and business of commercial services in the city of Da Lat. During this program, the People’s Committee of the City of Da Lat awarded certificates to 13 tourist service providers of the city to obtain the title of «Green Brand» for 20 consecutive years and 9 units to obtain the title for 15 consecutive years.
In addition, the People’s Committee of the city of Da Lat has also awarded certificates to 7 commercial production and service units in the region to obtain the title of «High Quality Shopping Destination» for 10 consecutive years
