Preliminary estimates from several entertainment venues and attractions in Ho Chi Minh City indicate that the number of visitors during Tet has increased by 10%-20% compared to the same period last year.
The Dam Sen Cultural Park saw the highest influx of visitors from the 3rd to the 5th day of Tet. The program "Tet revisiting childhood" is one of the highlights attracting visitors, where guests can relive childhood memories such as making toy figurines and enjoying local specialties.

Similarly, the Suoi Tien Cultural Park began to see a significant increase in visitors from the 3rd day of Tet, with the number estimated to increase by 10%-20% compared to the same period last year. Traditional games, calligraphy writing, fruit tasting from various countries around the world, and swimming at the Tien Dong Ngoc Nu beach are among the attractions drawing visitors' attention.
Similarly, the "overnight" double-decker bus tours around Ho Chi Minh City, and nighttime cruises on the Saigon River have been one of the preferred choices for local residents and international tourists alike. These businesses reported a surge in customers, especially on New Year's Eve, to experience the transition between the old and new year.
This year, due to rough seas, ferry services to Con Dao Island were suspended, leading to a decrease in the number of visitors to the island compared to last year. Only 90.97% of the expected visitors arrived at Con Dao Island during the 5-day Tet holiday period, resulting in tourism revenue reaching only 87.58% compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, in Vung Tau City, despite rough seas, the city's convenient transportation proximity to densely populated provinces and cities attracted a significant number of visitors, totaling over 330,000, a 21% increase compared to last year. Until the end of the Tet holiday, a large number of tourists continued to visit Vung Tau for leisure and beach activities. According to the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, the total number of visitors from the 1st to the 5th day of Tet exceeded 684,000, an increase of 2.23% compared to the previous year, including approximately 181,326 overnight visitors and about 10,897 international visitors. Tourism revenue during Tet is estimated to reach 558.428 billion VND, an increase of 3.73% compared to the same period last year.
In Dong Nai Province, according to the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, from the 1st to the 5th day of Tet, tourism establishments welcomed approximately 150,000 visitors, an increase of over 7%, with tourism service revenue estimated at 75 billion VND, an increase of over 13%. The increase is attributed to many tourism destinations such as Suoi Mo, Vuon Xoai, Cat Tien National Park, and the Bò Cạp Vàng eco-tourism area investing in product quality improvement, service innovation, and landscape renovation to create a vibrant spring atmosphere, contributing to attracting tourists. Particularly, Sơn Tiên Tourist Area has a specialized amusement park with many quality entertainment activities to enhance its attractiveness.
Meanwhile, according to the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Ca Mau Province, although tourism increased compared to last year, the overall tourism revenue did not increase significantly. Most visitors were domestic tourists, and the number of out-of-province visitors to Ca Mau during Tet was not high. From the 29th of Tet to the 5th day, the total number of tourists visiting Ca Mau reached over 177,900, an increase of over 8% compared to the previous Tet. Total tourism revenue reached over 137 billion VND. The Ca Mau Cape Tourist Area and Khai Long (in Dat Mui commune, Ngoc Hien district) attracted the most visitors, with nearly 40,000 visitors. The occupancy rate of accommodation facilities reached about 70%.
