Ngan Thong Glass Bridge located within the campus of Love Valley Tourism Area is the first glass bridge in the Central Highlands that has just been inaugurated and opened by Thanh Thanh Cong Lam Dong Tourism Joint Stock Company.
Spanning a length of 325 meters and 3 meters wide, the Ngan Thong Glass Bridge connects the Love Valley with the Dreamy Hill, passing through lush and pure pine hills. It can accommodate up to 200 visitors at a time, allowing them to experience and appreciate the scenic beauty.
This is a suspension bridge with its deck made of 5-layer tempered glass, which is nearly 4 cm thick. It is suspended by two 10-meter high pylons and supported by two 20-meter and 28-meter high towers, standing at a height of nearly 100 meters above the ground, equivalent to more than 1,500 meters above sea level.
As visitors take their first steps onto the glass deck of the bridge, they may initially feel the bridge shaking slightly, which might cause some hesitation and caution. When walking in the middle of the bridge, the 7D technology creates a simulated sound effect as if the glass layers are cracking, adding excitement to the experience. Ngan Thong Glass Bridge is the 4th glass bridge in Vietnam, following the Rong May Bridge in Lai Chau, Love Bridge in Moc Chau and Bach Long Bridge in Son La. Another interesting aspect of this bridge is that standing on it provides a panoramic view of many popular tourist attractions in Da Lat. Walking on Ngan Thong Bridge, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of civil works in Da Lat City, along with unique architecture in the distance, such as the Bell Tower of Da Lat College, the Buddha statue of Van Hanh Zen Monastery, etc.
If visitors stroll on the bridge early in the morning, they can find themselves floating on clouds, embraced by swirling mist around the hills, etc. Along with the chilly air, there are extensive pine forests, Bidoup - Ba Mountain peak, vegetable and flower gardens, and small winding roads turning green under the rising sunlight.
