17.12, the Popular Committee of the province of Gia Lai stated that it had asked the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to focus on research and development of tourism with the motto «Different products, professional services, practical and simple procedures, competitive prices, environment, green, clean, beautiful, attractive and different natural destinations».
In particular, by focusing on investment to make tourism an important economic sector, contributing to the economic restructuring of the province towards the development of services.
The Department needs to study more groups of tourism products such as: festival tour, MICE (tourism combining conferences, seminars, exhibitions, event organization), night tourism, city tour. In addition, put into service tourist products to visit and discover the river on inland waterways such as Ba River, Se San River, Ia Ly Lake, Ayun Ha Lake.

Some localities have built community tourism models with the participation of the population, helping to diversify tourism products, attracting more and more tourists to rural areas, as the community tourism model of the village of Dual (commune of Ia Mo Nong, district of Chu Păh), village of Mo Hra-Dat (commune of Kong Long Khong), village of Stör (commune of To Tung, district of Kbang).
Many villages of Bahnar, Jrai have been selected and planned to develop community tourism with the aim of developing tourism as a leading economic sector of localities.
Gia Lai determines the development of tourism in a close interregional relationship, associated with regional, national and international tourist destinations. The province is also promoting smart tourism and the digital transformation of tourism.
Gia Lai Culture and Tourism Week 2023, which took place from 11 to 19 November in the city of Pleiku and in the districts of Chu Pah and Ia Grai, ended successfully and well.
