Lam Dong Tourism Sees Record Gains During 2026 Lunar New Year

A large number of tourists gathered at famous attractions across Lam Dong Province to sightsee and enjoy vacations with family and friends during the early days of the 2026 Lunar New Year.

According to information from the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, from February 14 to February 22, 2026, the total number of tourists visiting and staying in Lam Dong during the Lunar New Year 2026 reached an estimated 925,000 arrivals (an increase of approximately 32% compared to the 2025 Lunar New Year); among these, international visitors were estimated at 62,000. Total tourism revenue was estimated at approximately 1,850 billion VND.

Tourism attractions in Lam Dong Province organized numerous vibrant cultural and entertainment events, attracting a large number of visitors during the 2026 Lunar New Year.

Tourist arrivals in Lam Dong were concentrated primarily from February 18 to February 20, 2026 (corresponding to the 2nd to 6th days of the Lunar New Year), during which period rated, branded, and prestigious hotels and resorts reached maximum occupancy (such as TTC Hotel Phan Thiet, Terracotta Resort Mui Ne, Sai Gon Da Lat Hotel, La Sapinette Hotel Da Lat, Roy Dala Hotel, etc.).

The average occupancy rate at tourist accommodation establishments across the province reached approximately 80-85%. Specifically, 3-to-5-star establishments achieved 85-95% occupancy (reaching 100% during peak days), while other types of accommodation reached about 75-85%.

The spring atmosphere in Da Lat and other localities throughout the province was vibrant, featuring 21 provincial-level events and 249 local-level activities. The "Celebrate the Party – Celebrate the Spring" arts programs, held at three major venues, attracted a large number of residents and tourists; furthermore, 19 firework displays across 18 localities were executed as planned, ensuring absolute safety.

Numerous unique cultural, sports, and tourism activities - such as Tet markets, lion and dragon dances, traditional cuisine reenactments, Banh Chung wrapping, folk games, and artistic performances - made a profound impression and met the public's demand for entertainment during the beginning of the year.

Tourism businesses focused on diversifying their products and services, adding new entertainment activities - especially nightlife offerings - and arranging on-site tour guides.

With its cool climate, Da Lat remains an ever-attractive destination for tourists.

At the same time, they strengthened linkages and coordination with domestic travel agencies to bring visitors to Lam Dong, while proactively collaborating with local authorities and functional agencies to ensure tourist safety.

Throughout the holiday, no complicated incidents occurred; prices remained basically stable, and there were no recorded instances of price gouging or tourist solicitation.
