The total number of tourists visiting and staying in Lam Dong during the Lunar New Year of the Tiger in 2024 is estimated to reach about 280,000 tourists.
The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Lam Dong province stated that from February 8th to 14th, 2024 (from the 29th of the lunar December of the previous year to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year of the Tiger), the total number of tourists visiting and staying in Lam Dong during the Lunar New Year of the Tiger in 2024 is estimated at about 280,000 tourists, including approximately 20,000 international tourists and an estimated 160,000 domestic tourists (an increase of about 33.3% compared to the same period in 2023).
Tourists arrived in Lam Dong mainly from February 11th to 14th, 2024 (from the 2nd to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year of the Tiger). During this time, 3 to 5-star hotels served at a capacity of 90-95%, while other types of accommodations reached about 75-85% capacity.
