On May 25, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association welcomed and held a working session with the Yunnan Province Young Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce from China. Especially with geographical advantages, Vietnam is the most potential market for young businesses from Yunnan Province. Therefore, businesses from Yunnan Province in particular and China, in general, are very eager to seek cooperation, exchange, share information, and explore business opportunities in Vietnam; they want to understand the requirements and conditions of Vietnam when Chinese businesses come to invest.

Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, stated that the Association currently has nearly 19,000 members across the country. Annual revenue exceeds $40 billion (contributing more than 10% of the country's GDP), and the Association is creating jobs for over 5 million workers.
Yunnan Province shares a border with four northern provinces of Vietnam: Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Lai Chau, Dien Bien; it is an important gateway in the Kunming - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh economic corridor.
“This is a great advantage for Yunnan to become a bridge for Vietnamese goods to penetrate deeper and farther into the southwestern provinces and cities of China; Yunnan is also an important gateway to bring Chinese products and goods through Vietnam to the potential ASEAN market,” said Mr. Hồng Anh.
