To participate in the Vietnam Masters, athletes must pass a strict selection mechanism including: 24 seeds - players in the top DRP rankings of each event, go straight to the round of 32 and are free to participate; 18 group stage positions - for athletes outside the seed group, compete for the last 6 places to the next round. This is an opportunity for players to show their mettle, break through and assert themselves before the new season.
