Renewable energy makes a record in international 2015

With the boom of wind power, solar power and hydroelectricity plans, it can be seen that the global record in 2015. Nearly 147 GW of renewable electricity is operated in 2015 – increasing every year at the biggest amount and equal to total capacity of Africa electricity manufacture.

Currently, green power investment increasing USD 286 billion, in there, solar power accounts for 56% and wind power accounts for 38%. According to REN21, in general, the money for renewable power increases more than double the amount for coal and nature gas to create electricity (USD 130 bilion in 2015)

At the first time, the developing economy spend more money than the developed countries in the race of investing renewable power, China accounts one third the amount for renewable power in global, Jamaica, Honduras, Uruguay and Mauritania belong to the country which have the biggest amount compared with their GDP. Affrica and Latin countries also set some targets with the highest ambitious in the world in developing green power in 2015

In Europe, investment decreases dramatically 21% after policy support is withdrawn like green power sponsor and tightened requirement goals. Although, renewable energy still supply 44% capacity of Europe and 15% the end energy consumption.

In the world, there are about 8,1 million people working for renewable power industry – not included hydroelectricity – 3.5 million people among them are in China. In USA, currently, there are many people are working for solar power industry compared with oil and gas exploition industry.

Arthouros Zervos, chairman of REN21 said the orientation of renewable energy is on the wrong way. The infrastructure of 20th century – a system relies on out-of-date thinking, where the traditional sub-loading relies on fosil fuel and atomic energy. Therefore, developing level generation and relies on the community need to rushing implementation to transfer into green energy.
