In the first four months of this year, foreign tourists come to Da Lat increase over 60% compared with last year.
These tourists come to China, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Germany, USA, Canada market, etc. The biggest number of tourists is from China with over 16,000 turns, increasing over 150%, the flowers are Thailand with nearly 7,000 turns, increasing 111%, American travelers are over 5,000 turn, increasing almost 43%, noted the tourists from Germany reach over 4,500 turns, increasing over 300% compared with 2015.
Mr Hoang Ngoc Huy, manager of operation department from Bureau of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, said this is the first time, foreign tourists come to Da Lat reaching the impressive number.
If relying on nature landscape it is hard to hold the tourist. Da Lat tourism industry invested, contributed many activities to meet the market demand, such as: organzing golf contest to attract Korean, Japanese tourists, cycling race to attract Western travelers, etc. said Huy
