Trigger the project of agriculture adapting climate change

 

The project is sponsored by Germany Government through United Nation Development Program (UNDP) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

The project officially triggered in March 22nd. The total expense is about USD 12.3 million requiring no repayment for 8 countries included: Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Uruguay, Nepal, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Among of them, espense for Vietnam is USD 700,000

The target of project aim to integrate issues relative to climate changes affecting to livelihood rely on agriculture in the process of national budget development plan and relative industries.

Accordingly, the anticipate results of the project contributing to accelerate technical ability and organize integrating agriculture segment in the national adaptive plan, also developing the processes of integrating agriculture segment to NAPs

The project is executing within 4 years, from the approved day (March 1st, 2016) and the project’s leader is Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
