With the theme "New Normal - New Opportunities for Vietnam Tourism", Vietnam International Tourism Fair 2022 (VITM Hanoi 2022) is the opening event for a new phase of Vietnam tourism. The focus on building safe tourism products, protecting the environment is expected to bring about transformation and recovery after the pandemic. Tourism Fair started from March 31st to April 3rd at Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi.
According to information from the Organizing Organization Committee, the fair attracted the participation of many tourism businesses with about 320 booths of 52 provinces and cities and from 6 countries. It is expected that at the fair, tourism and aviation businesses will introduce more than 10,000 stimulus tours; 100,000 cheap airfares and more than 1,000 gifts.
Moreover, this is also a special opportunity for localities, domestic and foreign businesses to introduce tourism products and services of countries, territories, tourism enterprises such as promotional tours, services at hotels, resorts, tourist attractions for partner businesses and tourists.
This fair is also a milestone marking the return to operation after a long period of "hibernation" of businesses. Ms. Nguyen Anh Ngoc (MKT Tourism Company) said: "Whether businesses are large or small, they expect the fair to create momentum for tourism to recover and develop after the pandemic. On March 15th, 2022, Vietnam officially opened its tourism activities. As a company focused on serving European tourists to Vietnam, we are ready to welcome international tourists after the hiatus due to the epidemic."
