Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has supported nearly 7.6 billion Vietnamese dong to support orphans due to Covid-19 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Since the end of 2021 until today, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has supported nearly 7.6 billion VND to sponsor children orphaned by COVID-19 in Ho Chi Minh City and has also committed to creating conditions for these children to study and have employment opportunities as they grow up.

Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Vice President of the Viet Nam Youth Federation and chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, stated that, with the desire to share the loss with the community for children who have lost their parents due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, along with sponsors, businesses, and volunteers, has signed on to support these children who have lost their due to the Covid-19 pandemic since December 2021. The sponsors, businesses, and volunteers are committed to caring for the children's health and well-being, creating conditions for them to study and have employment opportunities within member businesses as they grow up.

“This is a very dedicated and humanistic program that demonstrates the responsibility of young entrepreneurs towards the community”, shared Mr. Hong Anh.

Additionally, every year, the association and its sponsors regularly visit, encourage, and reward children with excellent academic performance.

Reportedly, Ho Chi Minh City currently has 1,546 sponsored orphans up to the age of 18 (calculated on the total number of orphans due to the COVID-19 outbreak across the city). They will receive support ranging from 500,000 VND to 2,000,000 VND/month.
