Representative from energy and mineral group of WB introduced partnership and implementation plan the support project of The World Bank to HCM city.
Accordingly, electricity development support program for solar power in HCM city which installing solar power panel on the floor of high building in the city.
The program will be implemented through particular phases, include coordinating with relevant agencies of HCM city, researching rooftop, then define benefits of solar power, research to develop business model of solar power and installing the most suitable model to HCM city.
According to energy and mineral exposition group of the World Bank, a research of group in 2013 illustrated if whole of the high building in HCM city will be installed solar power panel so it can be supplied 110 MWP solar power
Installation of solar power panel will help utilizing the roof, help to create job, benefit. Besides, group would like to implement projects in HCM city will help Vietnamese enterprise have a chance to learn the technology to apply widenly this model.
