Organic cultivation of the coconut

According to information from the Provincial Agricultural Extension Centre, in 2019, the entire province developed 4,500 ha of HC coconut. In recent years, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has always served as a bridge to help coconut producers and producers make connections in the production of HC coconut products.

HC Coconut provides clean raw materials for processing coconut products exported to US and European markets. HC coconuts when maintained should not be fertilized, inorganic drugs, manure should be composted when fertilized, pigs, chickens, ducks should not be raised... on a large scale.

Combine tourism

“Farmers engaged in organic coconut farming are very beneficial in terms of selling price and yield. The lush green coconut garden is long and durable. Participants in organic coconut cultivation and coconut buying companies need to put credibility above for a long-term win-win situation. The entire district of Mo Caynam has 16,870 ha of coconut, whose harvested area is 16,400 ha, the yield is about 12,000 fruits/ha. Strive to reach 5,000 ha of organic coconut by the end of 2025, combined with tourism to enhance the value of organic coconut gardens” (Chairman of Nam Mine Cay Farmers Association, Dang Thanh Tung)
