Binh Dai district focuses on building, developing, and perfecting the value chain, in order to promote production efficiency and product quality, increase the production value of the industry, help farmers reduce costs, improve income, and enhance their livelihoods.
In accordance with Resolution No. 03 of the Provincial Party Committee dated August 5, 2022, in Vietnam regarding the construction and completion of value chains for agricultural products, covering the period from 2016 to 2020 and the direction toward 2025, the district has coordinated with localities and businesses to establish production linkages along the value chain. As a result, 14 agricultural cooperatives have been established and more than 1,360 hectares of certified organic coconut gardens have been developed.

From the beginning of 2023 until now, companies have purchased over 3,832 million coconuts in communes.
The major challenge is to raise awareness among the population about the organic consumption of coconuts but also to improve consumption methods.
The project to establish a pilot area for concentrated organic coconut production is an advantage for the district to achieve the goal of developing a sustainable coconut value chain and strive to convert an increase of 1,450.7 ha.
“In the coming period, the district will focus on consolidating and improving the quality of operations of existing agricultural cooperatives and mobilizing residents to participate in training on organic coconut cultivation techniques and product consumption. In particular, the district will promote trade, production linkages, and consumption with companies and businesses to increase annual coconut purchasing output, in order to contribute to increasing profits for coconut growers.
