In addition, according to Hoang, the unit that builds the automatic irrigation system uses sensors and analytics to give signals to the controller to calculate the right amount of water and fertilizer for the plants. The cooperative collaborated with the researcher to develop nano-silica technology, using ash and rice husks to enhance plant growth. Drone technology and artificial intelligence models are being applied to help detect and assess the direction of plant treatment.

However, Dinh said the technological level of localities in the region is still low, technological innovation activities have not met development needs, not up to the region's potential. He hoped that in the coming times, localities will increase the mobilization of social resources to invest in science and technology, connect businesses and universities to convert research into commodities.
