(Baohatinh.vn) - The sugar palm variety not only creates an environmental landscape, contributes to land improvement in the planned eco-tourism area along the Dong Ghe River (Thach Ha commune, Ha Tinh City), but also creates economic value for local residents.
On the morning of February 22, Ha Tinh City organized the launch of tree planting activities in the planned eco-tourism area along the Dong Ghe River. Military forces, youth unions, and veterans will plant nearly 500 sugar palm trees along the planned routes within the area.
The sugar palm variety not only creates green spaces and environmental landscapes but also helps improve soil and create high economic value, contributing to the goal of developing urban agriculture linked with eco-tourism in the city.
It is known that from the beginning of the year until now, Ha Tinh City has planted over 5,000 coconut trees of various types in planned agricultural ecological areas such as Thach Ha, Dai Nai, Dong Mon, etc. Particularly in the planned eco-tourism area along the Dong Ghe River, 3,000 trees have been planted.
