(Baothanhhoa.vn) - A sugar cane company announced a programme to bring farmers to Laos to produce sugar cane. In the current context of the recovery of the sugar cane industry and lack of agricultural land to increase production, is this orientation the solution for farmers to enrich themselves?

Large fields will help farmers have an advantage in terms of crop costs.

Entrepreneurship is a composite expression between entrepreneurs and farmers, meaning that every farmer is an entrepreneur, with a way of thinking and acting like a business owner, but the field of activity is agriculture.

According to SBT’s announcement, the “Paving the Way for Farmers” program will create the conditions for farmers to take over and invest in sugar cane cultivation in large fields of up to 100 hectares.

This is the first time a Vietnamese company has implemented this revolutionary model. Farmers participating in the program will be organized by the company to allocate land without paying rent, while benefiting from a capital investment program to grow and care for sugar cane during the season. By the end of the season, the company will distribute all the sugar cane production and distribute the profits so that farmers benefit fully from the fruits of their efforts.

Full facilities and fresh air create an ideal living and working environment.

In addition, to help farmers achieve high yields, SBT also sends a team of agricultural experts and agricultural staff to advise and guide modern farming techniques. For large-scale farm management, the company also has policies in place to support the management and operating costs for farmers. All these actions aim to ensure that farmers effectively exploit the allocated area, thus increasing their income at the end of the season.

And with the ultimate goal of creating a source of raw sugar cane to supply the sugar factories, SBT charges no fees when farmers register to participate. Participants will be consulted in detail, sign an official contract and guarantee their rights in accordance with the law.
