More than 5.000 TTC AgriS sugarcane customers in raw material areas are excited to enter the 2023 – 2024 harvest, expecting beneficial results after a favorable crop.
During the 2023 – 2024 harvest, more than 5,000 sugarcane customers of Thanh Thanh Cong company – Bien Hoa (TTC AgriS, HOSE; SBT) in the raw material areas of Vietnam – Laos – Cambodia – Australia are excited, expecting beneficial results after a favorable but also challenging crop.
In addition to the positive sugarcane yield situation, this year TTC AgriS has introduced a policy to increase sugarcane procurement by 10-15% compared to the previous season, ensuring the implementation of commitments to harmonize common interests, helping sugarcane growers feel secure about price and production efficiency.

The 2023 – 2024 crop begins in the context of the sugar industry recording many positive changes. However, heading into the last days of December 2023, world sugar prices have a sharp downward correction. With a commitment to accompany and create peace of mind for sugarcane farmers, in the 2023 – 2024 pressing season, TTC AgriS has issued a policy to procure sugarcane in raw material areas based on sugar prices at the highest point. Accordingly, the purchase price of sugarcane in the 2023 – 2024 season has increased by 10 – 15% compared to the previous harvest, creating an exciting atmosphere for farmers.

To ensure timely and smooth harvesting, and take advantage of time for sugarcane to regenerate the root simultaneously, TTC AgriS plants have been proactively planning early and starting the pressing crop at the beginning of November 2023. Although the weather conditions problem affected the increase in sugar of sugarcane which was not as good as the previous years, with the policy to support intensive investment plus resources accumulated due to good sugarcane purchase prices in recent crops, many farmers achieved high sugarcane yields, exceeding 10% compared to the same period last year. Specifically, Gia Lai material area reaches over 80 tons/ha combined with the price bracket for sugarcane procurement in the 2023 – 2024 crop, as well as minimum CCS insurance policies and incentive programs, sugarcane growers with TTC AgriS still increase profits.
