On December 3 in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh People's Union held the National Volunteer Day and the 2022 National Volunteer Award ceremony.
Presentation of certificates of merit to collectives that have made outstanding achievements in volunteering for the community in 2022 in the 5th region of the Central Highlands
At the event, organizers presented the 2022 National Volunteer Awards to 9 collectives and 10 individuals. These are the top individuals and collectives selected from more than 258 nominations and nominations from provinces, cities, organizations, units and individuals across the country. Each individual and collective received the prize, including the certificate of merit from the Union Central Committee, the prize logo, and VND5 million.
On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union also awarded certificates of merit to 200 collectives that have achieved excellent achievements in volunteering activities for the community in 2022. These are clubs, associations, teams and groups under the National Volunteer Centre. In particular, Lam Dong has 3 collectives: Hieu Group and Thuong Lam Dong (Da Teh District), the University's Student Volunteer Club Volunteers from Yersin Da Lat University, the club of the LGBT community of Da Lat. Mr. Do Viet Du - Leader of the Hieu Group and Thuong Lam Dong represent the collectives directly receiving the Certificate of Merit in Hanoi.
National Volunteer Day 2022 takes place on December 3 and 4 with a series of human volunteer activities; in particular, the highlight is the Day of Voluntary Heart Blood Donation to prepare relief blood for the New Year's quarter lunar Mao 2023 with more than 3,000 people registered.
In response to the festival, more than 230 volunteer programs and activities were held simultaneously at 230 bridge points in 63 provinces and cities.
