The resident office of the Thanh Nien newspaper in Da Lat coordinated with the sponsor to donate bicycles to support the students of Bui Thi Xuan High School and the students of Yersin University.

Yesterday afternoon (9.12), the resident office of the newspaper Thanh Nien in Da Lat (Lam Dong), in collaboration with the members of the cycling race Voyage à la conquest du plateau - Da Lat 2023, organized the donation of bicycles to help disadvantaged students go to school to students of Bui Thi Xuan High School (Da Lat) and students of Yersin University.

Bicycle handover to support disadvantaged students at school

There were 10 students who received bicycles, each worth 5,800,000 VND brought by the members of the cycling race Journey to conquer the plateau - Da Lat 2023. On this occasion, Ms Le Thi Sen, a permanent member of the Vietnamese Bicycle and Motorcycle Federation, head of the National Committee of the Cycling Movement, and the members handed over to the office of the newspaper Thanh Nien 12 million dong to help the poor students of the region. The total value of this charitable campaign is over 70 million VND.

Sen added that on December 2, the Vietnam Bike and Motorcycle Federation organized the Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia Friendship Cycling Race of the 3 Countries, from Hanoi to Vientiane (Laos), on the occasion of the National Assembly Summit of the 3 Countries Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia. On this occasion, the members of the race gave to the students of the bilingual school Lao-Vietnam Nguyen Du (Laos) 10 bikes and 11 scholarships (1 million dong/each).

Previously, in October 2023, the cycling club Lam Vien - Da Lat and the cycling clubs of the Cycling Federation - Motorcycle of Vietnam sponsored 42 bikes for the office of the newspaper Thanh Nien to give them to high school students of the city of Da Lat.
