(Dan tri) - Deputy Prime Minister welcomed Chinese enterprises to participate in renewable energy projects and become a model of effective and quality cooperation.

On the morning of February 27, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha received Mr. Wang Ban, General Director of PowerChina Group (China).

In the field of energy, the Deputy Prime Minister said that Vietnam has issued the Power Plan 8, which allocates a very large "space" for the development of renewable energy but must ensure a stable, balanced power system and solve the problem of storage, transportation, and use of new fuels produced from renewable energy sources such as hydro, and ammonia.

The Deputy Prime Minister welcomed Chinese enterprises, including PowerChina, to participate in renewable energy projects; he hoped that these projects would become a model of effective and quality cooperation.

Reporting to the Deputy Prime Minister on the activities of PowerChina in Vietnam, Mr. Wang Ban said the group has a close cooperation relationship with Vietnamese enterprises in project implementation and human resource training on the spot.

Advertisement by DTads The leaders of PowerChina also shared about some renewable energy projects being implemented by the Group, especially energy storage solutions during the development of renewable energy in China to ensure the stability, balance, and safety of the power system, among which the pumped hydroelectricity model has proven to be highly efficient.

In addition, the group also has a lot of experience, capacity, and resources to implement infrastructure projects such as highways, and high-speed railways.

Acknowledging the proposal of the PowerChina Group's leadership, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned ministries, sectors, and localities to continue working and supporting PowerChina Group in seeking investment opportunities in specific and suitable renewable energy and transportation infrastructure projects.

Thereby contributing to further writing the comprehensive strategic partnership relationship between Vietnam and China through new projects during the digital and green transformation.

"The infrastructure connectivity projects will be the symbol of the cooperation relationship between the two countries. In addition to investment and business activities, Chinese enterprises need to pay attention to sharing experiences, technology transfer to Vietnamese partners for mutual cooperation and victory," the Deputy Prime Minister exchanged.
