Currently, ministry of Education and Trainning, in the progress of education testing reform completion. That is proven by changes in high school examination as well as assessment into university and college.
Especially, ministry will concentrate to foreign language testing, include English testing – an important tool in teaching and learning foreign language. This is considered an effective assessment tool, prove foreign language ability of student.
That is information informed by minister of Education and Training, mr. Bui Van Ga, in international conference about foreign language testing - New Directions existed in Ha Noi in October 13rd.
English language skill will supply the career, study in expart opportunities and intergrate to the world better. The United Kingdom is ready to cooperate with Vietnamese applying goals which are proposed in effective English teaching for students across provinces and cities.
According to United Kingdom Ambassador, Giles Lever, an effective testing and language ability assessment system can check practical, teaching and language learning skill.
To support Vietnam apply testing in an effective way, English is ready to cooperate tighter with of Vietnam Education and Training ministry to design, establish and apply in activities of National Foreign Language Ability Testing center and hope this ideal soon become reality.
