
In M’Drak, in recent years, ethnic minority borrowed from bank to transfer from ineffective land, fallaw to grow sugar cane
Especially, the farmers is going to transfer thousand hectar of fallow, hill land to grow cane in order to have high economic. Currently, sugar cane growing land increased to 6,100 hectar, in there, concentrated mostly in remote village Ea Pin, Cu Prao. Many families of ethnic minority in remote areas, every year, earning profit from growing cane thousand-millions VND.
According to evaluation of Agriculture and Rural Development, cane productivity this year achieved from 70 to 90 million of cane plant per hectar, many families had intensive farming and achieved good result from 100 ton of sugar plant per hectar above. DakLak has total square of cane nearly 12,000 hectar, in there, concentrated mostly in M’Dak and Ea Kar district.
