Accordingly, from May 4 to 15, the Central Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association organized the donation of 5,000 bottles of fresh water (19 liters each), 30 water tanks (1,000 liters each), and numerous support gifts to the people and youth in the drought-affected and saline intrusion areas of the Mekong Delta, including Ben Tre, Long An, Ca Mau, Tien Giang, and Vinh Long provinces. The total value of this support amounts to over 600 million VND.

In Tien Giang, the Central Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association donated 1,000 bottles of fresh water (19 liters each) and 10 water tanks (1,000 liters each), with a total value of nearly 130 million VND to the people of Binh An Commune, Go Cong Dong District, Tien Giang Province.

Under the midday sun, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tu in Binh An Commune (Go Cong Dong, Tien Giang) and hundreds of residents gathered at the Commune People's Committee to receive fresh water from the program. "For almost 2 months now, drought and saline intrusion have made life difficult, especially regarding fresh water for drinking and daily use. Having fresh water from the program makes not just me, but everyone in the commune very happy. My family uses it sparingly to make it last longer while waiting for the rain," Ms. Tu shared.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Duong Long Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, stated that in response to the prolonged drought and localized shortage of drinking water in many areas, which affects people's lives and production, the Central Association has called on members, Young Entrepreneurs Clubs in various provinces and cities, and businesses to support the people in the drought-affected and saline intrusion areas to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

In Ca Mau, the Central Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association organized the donation of 1,000 bottles of fresh water (19 liters each) and 20 water tanks (1,000 liters each), with a total value of nearly 150 million VND to the people of Khanh Hai Commune, Tran Van Thoi District.

Mr. Pham Thanh Duoc, Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hai Commune, expressed his gratitude and highly appreciated the timely support from the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association to the poor and those in particularly difficult circumstances in the area. "These loving drops of water, rich in affection, will help the people reduce their difficulties, gradually stabilize their lives, and contribute to the commune's efforts to fulfill its political tasks locally," Mr. Duoc emphasized.

In Vinh Long and Long An, the Central Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association also joined hands to donate 2,000 bottles of fresh water to the people in Vung Liem District (Vinh Long) and Tan Tru District (Long An), helping to mitigate the damages caused by drought and saline intrusion.

"The bottles of water and water storage equipment donated in the program are meaningful and timely gifts that help the people somewhat overcome their difficulties to stabilize their lives," said Mr. Ngo Tan Tai, Vice Chairman of Tan Tru District People's Committee.

"In the future, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association will continue to mobilize organizations, individuals, and member businesses to contribute more resources to support the local government in implementing long-term plans to provide clean water to the people in the drought-affected and saline intrusion areas of the Mekong Delta provinces," shared Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Chairman of the Central Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.
