On May 21, at the Selavia complex, Toan Hai Van Joint Stock Company (TTC Phu Quoc – a member of TTC Group) and The Ascott Limited, one of the world’s leading hospitality management groups, officially signed a technical consulting and management agreement for the hotel-apartment project under the Citadines Selavia Phu Quoc brand.
This marks a strategic step in the journey to elevate Selavia into a new symbol of Vietnamese hospitality on the international tourism map.

Citadines Selavia Phu Quoc – An International Landmark in the Heart of Pearl Island
According to the signed agreement, Ascott will collaborate with TTC Phu Quoc in providing international-standard technical consulting and managing the high-rise hotel zone branded as Citadines Selavia Phu Quoc, part of the Selavia project.
The hotel is expected to begin operations in Q3/2027, with a total construction floor area of over 40,000 m². It will offer hundreds of upscale international-standard serviced apartments integrated with amenities such as a swimming pool, gym, restaurant, lounge, co-working space, children's playground, etc., catering to the rising bleisure (business + leisure) travel trend.
The Ascott Limited, headquartered in Singapore, is one of the world’s leading international lodging owner-operators. Starting with the launch of Asia-Pacific’s first international serviced apartment in 1984 (The Ascott Singapore), the group has continually expanded and now owns a portfolio of over 990 properties across more than 230 cities in over 40 countries.
With a diverse brand portfolio — from serviced apartments, hotels, resorts, and co-living to senior independent living — Ascott consistently delivers exceptional experiences that meet the diverse needs and preferences of global travelers.
The Citadines brand under Ascott represents a modern and dynamic lifestyle, blending the comfort of a serviced apartment with the flexibility and comprehensive services of a hotel — perfectly suited to the fluid lifestyles and exploratory spirit of global citizens.
The resort model here is built on four key pillars: Culture, Cuisine, Wellness, and Community, offering a well-rounded stay experience where young travelers can immerse, connect, and explore new destinations in their own unique way. The presence of Citadines in Selavia not only affirms the project's international caliber but also offers outstanding added value for both property owners and leisure guests, while contributing to local socio-economic development.
Selavia – From Local Identity to Global Living Standards
Selavia Phu Quoc is an all-in-one seaside urban township spanning nearly 180 hectares, developed by TTC Phu Quoc in the southern part of the island. The project boasts a private beach over 2 km long and is situated in a prime feng shui location, embracing sea, mountains, urban amenities, and strategic transport connections.
It also features the first artificial lotus island, inspired by Vietnam’s national flower — a symbol of resilience and beauty rising from adversity. The project was master-planned and designed by Royal HaskoningDHV (Netherlands), renowned for creating the iconic Palm Island in Dubai.
At Selavia, every architectural detail, landscape, and amenity has been carefully curated by top-tier global partners: Surbana International (Singapore) for planning consultancy, Southland Development (USA) for landscape and utility development, and Kume Design (Japan) for architectural design. The involvement of these prestigious firms ensures superior project quality and enhances investment value.
During the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Ngữ, Chairman and CEO of TTC Phu Quoc, affirmed that TTC Phu Quoc is committed to close cooperation and providing full support for Ascott to execute all phases from technical consulting to project operation.
“We believe that the synergy between local strengths and international expertise will create sustainable and differentiated value for investors, customers, and the broader community. This partnership with Ascott is a testament to TTC Phu Quoc’s commitment to quality, excellence, and global standards for the Selavia project. This is not just a turning point in the project’s development journey but also the beginning of a long-term strategic partnership between the two parties,” Mr. Ngữ stated.

Alongside the Selashine shophouse project, which is drawing strong interest from investors, TTC Phu Quoc continues to develop a variety of other subdivisions, including resort villas, high-end apartments, a marina, amusement park, seaport, and logistics warehouse system — all aimed at completing a modern urban tourism ecosystem.
At the ceremony, Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc, Standing Vice Chairwoman and CEO of TTC Group, shared: “Today's event marks an important step in realizing TTC Group’s long-term strategic vision in Phu Quoc. Over its 46 years of formation and development, TTC Group has continuously innovated its mindset, raised standards, and expanded its vision to actively contribute to the nation’s socio-economic development.” She expressed strong confidence that the synergy between TTC’s internal strengths and Ascott’s international operational expertise would elevate Citadines Selavia Phu Quoc into an iconic Southeast Asian destination — a place where exceptional experiences, luxury relaxation, and premier investment opportunities converge.

TTC Phu Quoc remains steadfast in pursuing a development model aligned with ESG criteria: conserving resources, protecting the marine environment, creating jobs for the community, and aligning with Kien Giang Province’s green and sustainable tourism development strategy.
The signing ceremony with Ascott is not only a milestone in international cooperation but also a testament to TTC’s long-term vision. It further reaffirms the position and profit-generating potential of Selavia — a destination that brings together “unique” values such as strong legal foundations, prime location, reputable operating partners, and high exploitation potential.

Phu Quoc being selected to host the APEC Forum in 2027—a major international event gathering thousands of global leaders and businesspeople—opens up significant development potential for the South Island area. Riding that momentum, Selavia and Citadines Selavia Phu Quoc are gaining numerous advantages, with a growing ecosystem of resort, commercial, and logistics facilities being completed. Together, they form a solid foundation to meet the rising demand for accommodation, business, and investment—not only in the lead-up to APEC but also for the area’s long-term development.
