Private companies are allowed to make electricity transmissions. That is a helpful solution to solve the problem of storing electricity transmission.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Ha, General Director of T&T Energy Group Joint Stock Company

Many investors of the LNG Electricity Project in Quang Tri Province are reporting for research, reporting about factors of environment, change of purpose for using land, clearance compensation, preparation for loan contract, negotiating contract, purchasing electricity contract (PPA), purchasing LNG Gas contract for a long time.

This is a very important project. It has many stage implementations with so much movement (change the price of electricity, movement of the sources of raw material gas source…), risks (problems during building, problems occur when cooperating together…), undertakings, investment policies, incorrect contract plans,... Therefore, these are difficulties in determining the result of projects, negotiating with partners to sign contract PPA, finding investment interest,...

“With strong determination from T&T Group, capability about finance and many experiences of investors in Korea are going to solve challenges during construction project, ensure construction progress in period 2026-2027”, Mr. Nguyen Thai Ha, General Director of T&T Energy Group Joint Stock Company believed that.

LNG Electricity Projects are independent electricity factories (IPP) also follow the PPA contract that is a sample promulgated by Vietnamese law. Electricity factories are going to compete with each other on the wholesale market and just consume in limited quantities from EVN. Policies support for clear energy development and recycle energy development are not transparent, seamless like as solar electricity stalled from 1 January 2021, wind electricity stalled after 1 November 2021. Transmission grid does not develop synchronously with the speed of development of electricity sources.

Therefore, Mr. Ha requested that The Government should enact legal corridors, suitable policies to delete stucking electricity completely. That attracts more resource systems to invest in power transmission systems and sustainable energy development.
